The Publications section of the PACE website highlights books, publications and journals which focus on art education in galleries, museums, alternative venues and locations. There is also a list of interesting critical reading texts, which aim to inform, challenge and question the nature of arts and education practice in different contexts and environments. Members are invited to submit relevant, critical and current reading on any of the above topics.

Discover Art Shortlisted for Children's Book of the Year Award 2008
Discover Art at Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane written by Jessica O'Donnell was shortlisted for the 2008 Bisto Children's Book of the Year Award. The CBI Bisto Book of the Year Awards are presented annually in recognition of excellence in writing and illustration.
Discover Art explores the Hugh Lane's wonderful collection of modern and contemporary art and includes ideas for art activities contributed by artists who have participated in the Hugh Lane's programmes for children. Since its launch last June, Discover Art has been enthusiastically received and has become one of the best selling books in the Hugh Lane gallery bookshop. To celebrate the Hugh Lane gallery's centenary year a copy of Discover Art was sent to every primary school in the Republic of Ireland in April 2008. This programme was generously supported by the Department of Arts, Sport and Tourism.
