Freeform is an ideal media based animation programme  that engages children of all ages in the visual arts.  It is great to use with schools, youth groups, community groups, special needs groups and people with learning disabilities.

The project utilises recently developed animation software (AVP), which allows groups to animate objects in real time. Using digital images of artworks children are able to engage and develop animated paintings/ sculptures in realtime.

Touch the Sky performance group focus on an experimental approach to performance, inspired by the contemporary programme of events and exhibitions at the gallery. The performances challenge traditional forms of drama production. The performance project is committed to building meaningful and long term relationships with emerging artists with learning disabilities. It is equally committed to the development of high quality artistic practice and creative engagement.

National Drawing Day

focus: Using grounds of Kilkenny Castle as an alternative drawing pad
