Art-i-Fact strategy is devised using mathematical operations and principals. As a learning tool Art-i-Fact cards offer a fun way for children to learn about prime, triangular, pyramidal and square numbers, factors, multiples, square roots and sequences. From an arts perspective children engaged in the artistic process and learned about colour, tone, perspective and composition. They also learned about the correlation between arts and mathematics examining Islamic geometric patterns, the Fibonacci series, and the golden ratio.
